What is a lifestyle management or concierge service?
Lifestyle management and concierge services are designed to provide individuals and their families, as well as their businesses, with extra support for their everyday lives that allows them to devote more time to the things that really matter to them, and which they enjoy rather than the items they find time consuming but nevertheless essential.
Who is it for?
Virtual PA is for anyone who feels that they simply haven’t got enough time in the day to achieve all those things they wanted to – by delegating out tasks members can achieve a better work-life balance. Virtual PA is a confidential and discreet service with highly trained staff to take care of all your requests.
How does this work?
Once you become a member you receive access to your own PA who will work with you to tailor the service around your lifestyle and your own specific needs, ensuring that you save time and money and get to start enjoying your own life more. Each PA will come meet you, generally at your home, to discuss your lifestyle goals.
How will it help me?
By understanding what your specific needs are we can be proactive on your behalf – if you have particular passions and interests we can find out for you what is happening locally that might be of interest. Remembering birthdays and anniversaries is easily taken care of together with reminders for household and car insurances and other annual renewals or services.
Why should I pay someone to do these things for me?
We all know that organising our day to day lives takes up a lot of time, time which would be better spent with friends and family or enjoying an activity or past-time. Searching for the best holiday or finding a suitable gift for a loved one, organising a day out or a party sometimes just needs an extra pair of hands. Even finding a plumber or handyman is one phone call away – and what you get is someone reliable and suitable for the job with your PA doing all the organising. With phone call or email a kind thought can become a reality and the more we get to know you the more we can help. Just think, how is your time best spent?
Can you save me money as well as time?
We all like to shop around and find the best price but sometimes it’s more time that you’re willing to spend. With a Virtual PA to help all this can be done for you, often saving you money on your insurance premiums or finding the lowest priced flight. Also, we negotiate with our suppliers to give you a better price than normal e.g. theatre tickets with no commission charges. Also, become a member of Virtual PA and receive membership to The Keyholding Company as part of your membership, no joining fee.
Who are your suppliers?
We have built up a supply base of companies that can cater to a huge variety of our member’s needs from domestic tradesmen, painters and decorators, architects and roofers to specialised services like art restoration and damp proofing we generally have an experienced supplier who can do the job. We continually add to this portfolio of suppliers working with companies who understand the level of service that we ensure to our customers and which is expected of the supplier in turn. Each supplier is vetted and referenced so our members get complete peace of mind.
How much is membership?
Personal membership is currently set at £600 a month with no joining fee. There is also no minimum contract but we do suggest that to really see the benefits of having a Virtual PA membership the minimum time period is three months. When you are a member your partner is automatically included in the membership. Sometime you just need membership for a short period of time whilst moving house or getting married, or know of someone who would appreciate help with planning their trip to London – in this case temporary membership can be arranged at special request.
Are there any additional or hidden fees?
The only additional fee is if your PA has to leave the office in order to run an emergency errand for you. Under normal circumstances PAs do not leave the office but under exceptional circumstances would do so. This is charged at £25 an hour. There are no additional charges for out of hours requests that are genuine emergencies.
How often can I use the service?
You may use the service as often as you like. There are no limits to what you can request. However, in busy periods your requests might need to be prioritised on a weekly basis and this would be done directly with your PA.
What do I get when I join?
Peace of mind. Being a member of Virtual PA means that you have a PA working in your best interests at all times whatever it is that you request.
Can you get me into the best restaurants?
When you join, we would take the time to find out if you liked a particular restaurant or any other places that might be difficult to get into. We would endeavour to make arrangements on your behalf for as often as you would like to go and if we’re unable we’ll find an equally wonderful alternative. We work hard to build up relationships with all the best restaurants to ensure that our members get tables when they need them. At the same time, we do not promise to deliver beyond our abilities or contacts.
